DEE SILKIE'S FAVOURITE THINGS
DeeSilkiesFavoriteThingsForChristmas

It's that time of year again!  The snow is falling, Christmas music is in the air, and people are ducking into their favourite coffee shops to buy a cup of joe to beat the beginning of the cold winter weather.  This year while you are doing your holiday shopping, why not check out these amazing products and businesses located right here in the East Coast!?

Below is a list of a few of my favourite things.  They are great gift ideas for those in your life who are on your list and tough to shop for, or for those who just deserve to be spoiled this holiday season!

NORA SWIMWEAR
It may not seem like you need a new swimsuit now, but in only a few short months some of us will be planning trips down south to get a break from the snow!  Treat yourself to one of Nora Swimwear's super cute suits(my personal fave is Gigi, a pastel pink bikini with a perfect keyhole in the front which shows off just the right amount of cleavage.  Check it out here).

FOXBROOK LIPSTICK
This Canadian based lipstick company is turning heads.  Each lipstick is named after a local girl who is following their dreams.  This company is fairly new, but it growing quickly!  From - lip toppers, to glosses, to matte coats - you will totally find a lipstick shade that is right for you!  Shop the holiday collection here.

WEAR YOUR LABEL
If you are like me, after the holidays are finished, the "dark and twisties" set in.  Remind someone you love, this Christmas, that they "are not alone" and give them a gift of comfort and meaningful support.  Shop their clothing line here.

ALLIE BECKWITH
I have followed Allie Beckwith for a few years now and her beach paintings just keep getting better and better.  Her classic black and white colour scheme goes with any interior decor and is the perfect touch to a bare wall.  Shop her paintings here.

CREATEDHERE MAGAZINE
There is something so thrilling about getting something in the mail. Createdhere magazine features New Brunswick crafters, designers, and artisans.  It's a great way to learn more about the arts and culture scene this province has to offer. Order your next four issues here and enjoy flipping through the colourful pages all year round!

I would love to know if you have ever tried any of these products, or who you plan on buying them for this year:)  Let me know in the comments section!

Happy Shopping,

D.W.
