I don't know if it's my brown wavy hair or the fact that I dye fabric, but if I had a penny for every time someone called me a "hippie," I could afford to quit my day job and do this art thing full time.  I really do not consider myself to be a hippie, but I decided that for this super fun shoot with Kelsey and Kayley, I would embrace the hippie vibes and just go with it.

For this look I had flower pins made by florist and artist Reuben Mark Stewart and I chose to style Kayley in a rainbow coloured silk I had dyed (which is a colour pallet I had purposefully steered clear of up until this point).  Photographer Kelsey Schroeder and I also covered Kayley in flash tattoos, which was actually a lot harder than it should have been. Kayley was pretty much soaked by the time we were done. lol

After Kayley was decked out in her metallic tattoos and covered in tie dyed silk, the three of us began our shoot at the most gorgeous and secret view of the Saint John River.  The three of us were not super familiar with the area and we were paranoid that we were walking through poison ivy as we walked through the overgrown grass and bushes.  THANKFULLY we all ended up unscathed, but it was a pretty funny experience just the same.  All in all, this shoot was pretty relax and care free...I guess you could even say it was "far out dude!"
