There is no road map telling you how to reach your goals.  It is simply trial and error.  My strategy so far has been to take on as many projects and opportunities as I can.  Be a hustler and do everything in my power to get to where I want to go.  As great as this approach has been for me so far, I think I have now taken it to the point where instead of helping me it is hindering me.

My focus is being spread too thin and instead of finishing the important things that need to be done in order to improve my business, I am putting my efforts into things that are not necessarily going to help me and my business down the road.  I need to take a step back and work on finishing one (or two) things at a time instead of trying to do everything at once.  This is not going to be easy for me and some gentle encouragement might be needed to help give me that extra push, but at this point it is something that needs to happen.

I would love to hear more about how being focused on one thing at a time has helped you reach your goals. How has "taking on too much" either helped or hindered you?
